Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter

The release date for Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter was September 17, 2026, on PC, PlayStation, and Nintendo platforms. This direct sequel picks up immediately after the previous game's cliffhanger, following Estelle Bright on a search for her partner, Joshua, across the Kingdom of Liberl.

This entry marks a significant shift in scope as the narrative introduces Ouroboros, the shadowy organization that becomes the primary antagonist for the entire decade-spanning series. It is a dense, text-heavy RPG that focuses on world-building and turn-based tactical positioning, where every NPC has an evolving schedule and unique dialogue. The scale of the script and the expansion of the orbment magic system make this the definitive peak of the Liberl arc.

Expect a massive commitment that rewards players who finished the first game and want a resolution to its central mystery.
